22-Dez-2015 -- Vorher: 52°N 1°W.

Weiter: 52°N 3°W.

22-Dec-2015 -- The last confluence point before was 52°N 1°W.

This was the 10th confluence point during our New Year’s tour. We drive to Alderton. The navigation system sends us to a dead end with a lot of family homes. It's raining and getting dark. We quickly go back a little and on the next road we stop at a good spot. In the curve, a small trail between walls leads north. Behind the houses we go to the left, passing two pastures. At the bushes at the edge, we bring the GPS to zero. The images taking in the direction of the cardinal points are somewhat blurred because of the gathering darkness.

We head into the Black Mountains. There we find a nice parking lot close to a pub. During the night the rain pours extremely, and squalls sweep through the valley. A very nice region where one can make wonderful walks- in nice weather and with more time. Maybe we can even walk over the ridge to our next confluence point. Next: 52°N 3°W.
