18-May-2026 -- Another vacation, another confluence point and another one in a residential front yard. After meeting our friends from St. Louis in Milwaukee, WI with the final destination being the Geneva Lake area… I cajoled our friends to make a stop after leaving the MKE airport. This was super easy to find. Only an 16 minute drive from the airport. Often when I mention the DCP to people they ask if there is a marker and I explain we are just chasing invisible lines. HOWEVER, this point has a marker!! First one I’ve seen. It was placed by a 6th grade reading class in 1973. (It helps to read up on the previous visits - I would have known all this.)

We arrived at the point on 70th Street and 43N zeroed as we parked at the curb. We got out of the car and were trying to get oriented when a gentleman came out of the house to see what was up. We started to explain and he said you are looking for that plaque across the street. We walked over and sure enough, there was a DCP marker. But in fact, the marker was not on the point. My GPS zeroed in the middle of the street. My guess is that the marker is as close as the school kids could get.
