08-Jun-2001 -- Coming from our visit at 49°N 17°E we entered northern Moravia after some detours in order to bypass the busy roads around Ostrava and Opava.

Finally we stopped at the southern boundary of the village of Hněvošice (Schreibersdorf), close to the village name plate (pic#2). We made the experience that the spot was not on the western side of the road as shown by MapQuest as well as on a local road map. Proofed with two GPS we found the confluence about 10 m to the east (pic#3). It seems that something went wrong with the geographical survey. Due to the dense forest it was difficult to pinpoint the ZERO-position.
