29-Jun-2005 -- I was on a mission - to visit as many opoints as possible on the 51N line - I started at 51N 14E.

51N 6E was a doddle but the problem is that it is now 5.20pm and the nearby Bayer factory is disgorging its workforce. I went north to pick up the northern ring but was stuck for 15 minutes before reaching it. Then I took the A57 NW thinking to take the A46 toward the point.

In the thunderstorm it was not clear which turn off to take and I ended up doing a tour of Dusseldorf by mistake. Eventually I was back on track and the A46 took me to Heinsberg and then good roads to the point. The point lies just inside a field used for exercising horses. As it had barbed wire around it and it was pouring with rain and I was cross with myself for poor navigation I took the photos from the road and moved on.
