#1: Looking North

(visited by Peter Thompson and Kim Thompson)

04-Sep-2005 -- While enjoying our long weekend in Spa, Belgium, Kim and I decided to take a drive South to Luxembourg stopping off at scenic villages along the way, places that we would like to revisit one day.

While in this part of the world we decided to have a look at this CP, I had read the reports on the website that it was a relatively easy point to get to, so we just set the GPS up in the car and drove towards it. We approached the CP from up the hill, and just drove down to it, it was very easy, parking the car less than 5m from the CP, you can see the West photo with and without the car!!

We took our photo’s and read the information that has been provided about the confluence site, and then Kim drove us into Wilwerwiltz where we have a nice Leffe Blond beer. Had a nice drive, and visited a very popular CP!

It was while we were in Luxembourg that I received a SMS from my sister in Australia to say she was pregnant, congratulations Kim and Chris.
