#1: Beautiful location for a confluence hunter

(visited by Ole Henseler)

28-Jan-2009 -- On my way back from Belgium to Germany and having visited 50N-04E and 50N-05E the day before, I decided to drive through Luxembourg not only to buy very cheap gas for the car!

I left the highway from Brussels to Cologne and drove in southern direction towards Luxembourg. The last 30 km to the confluence in very nice sunshine brought me to the small town Enscherange. When I entered the access road up to the hill where the confluence is located, an old man stopped me and asked if he could help me as he recognized my German licence plate.

"Do you wanna go to that strange 45° thing over there? It´s a bad road and there´s nothing to see...". But I could convince him that I REALLY want to go there and the location is REALLY nice! I stopped the car nearby and took some photos and enjoyed very much the warming afternoon sun after my last confluence visit the evening before in France was quite dark and cold...

I left Luxembourg towards Germany having in mind that there was a confluence next to river Moselle... wasn´t that on my way home? Well... continued at 50N-07E.
