14-Nov-2007 -- Although it was the Degree of Confluence Project that originally led me to discover Geocaching and get to 1200+ caches in the last 5 years ago, this is only the second confluence point I've visited. It turned out to be more of an adventure than expected. My first approach started on Willow Drive. I thought I saw trail markers, but they turned out to be gas pipeline markers. Still, there was a path in the general direction, so I went a short distance before bailing out at the river crossing. Next I approached from Fred St. where I lost the trail after about 2 minutes, but continued bushwhacking until I got to the confluence point. The way in went through a boggy area, had a bit of jumping over rivulets, and one particularly muddy shoe incident. Finally at GZ I did the get the GPS to show zeroes dance for awhile for a photo op. The way out was much easier and missed the bog. Also picked up one more geocache find in the same spot.
