The Confluence Point ‘51N-14E’ is located in the very East of Germany and is one of two CPs in Saxony. It is easily accessible because it is located directly next to a logger track.
In addition to this you can find four signs resp. marks of this CP! So it is hardly possible to miss it. But it is hard to get the exact coordinates on the screen! Caused by the many leaves on the trees I had an often changing signal. At luck it was sunny this day so that no clouds could weaken the signal.
The car was parked at a distance of about 500 meters from the CP on the crossing of the “Lohmener Straße” and the “Malerweg”. The unpaved way towards the CP was blocked because of woodcutting works. I passed the fence (red/white striped plastic tape) walked along the fields and reached the CP direct on the muddy way. This logger track is a hiking way called “Malerweg”.
With a good feeling I visited the marvelous castle of Pillnitz, on the river Elbe, afterwards. It is in a distance of about 10 km bee line from the CP.
