14-Nov-2009 --

November, 14 2009 at 10:00, the hunter team formed by Juan Mejias, Luis Cova, Jose Estanga and Luisa Aguirre, started a journey from the city of Puerto Ordaz toward the Confluence N09W63 located in the Oil Field and Pine Forrest Morichal, Monagas State.

After driving on different roads, some of them in poor conditions, we reached the street that divides the Pine Forrest from the Oil Field, we droved through a paved road until around 2km of our destination. We stepped into the pines area on a sand road covered with dry pine leaves. Up to about 150m PC, we parked the car and walked to the destination.

At 12:30 under a roof of pine we performed the famous Confluence Dance, and we put all of our GPS reading in N9 00 00.0 W63 00 00.0

After taking relevant photos and talk for a while about the trip, and listening to different noises being generated by the wind through the pines, mixed with the singing of the cicadas, we started our journey back.
