26-Apr-2011 -- Its a nice scenic drive approaching the area of confluence. I have been at this point of confluence many times as I host a container and log sheet here for a gps sport called geocaching. Today I drove to the location and made the short hike to the top to as to document the find this time. The hike up is about a 45 degree angle in decomposed granite. It has a lot of light flowering vines that grow up the trees. I had to watch for a few clumps of poison oak on the way up. A red marker hanging from a branch marks the halfway point. Was soon back down the hill to my car with a few slips and slides along the way. There is a nice parking area which is close to the base of this area.I'm not sure why it is there but appears to be a public area and convenient place to park.
