#1: The Confluence

(visited by David Williams and Michael Dunbar)

06-Jul-2012 -- A short detour on our trip from Frimley (England) to Havelte (Netherlands) for the Dutch Radio-orienteering Championships this confluence was just too close to our route to miss out.

We could have done the whole visit without getting out of the car - but that would have been a shame as it was a lovely warm and sunny evening - after what seems like weeks of cold and rain.

Although currently a rural/agricultural location there is lots of new development around, spreading from the east - so perhaps the confluence roundabout is in preparation.

We had an audience of curious and excitable heifers and bullocks who paid close attention to our visit. Perhaps they thought we might have food.
