20-Dez-2017 -- Unser Besuch begann mit einer Verkehrskontrolle in Sindelfingen. Wir wurden von der Autobahn in den Feierabendverkehr gelotst und kontrolliert. Und wir hatten es eigentlich ein wenig eilig, um nicht ganz im Dunkeln am Confluence Punkt 48°N 8°E anzukommen. Wir fuhren die A 81 Richtung Süden, in Villingen-Schwenningen auf die Bundesstraße 27 und unser Navi brachte uns dann auf kleinen wunderschönen Straßen quer über den Schwarzwald bis Sankt Peter und weiter Richtung Eschbach.

Mein Mitreisender hatte diesen CP schon besucht und setzte mich an einem Bauernhof ab. Ein älterer Mann fragte mich, ob er mir helfen kann. Als ich ihm sagte, was ich vorhabe, sagte er, ich solle suchen, den Punkt würde ich mit dem GPS schon finden, aber der richtige Schnittpunkt würde sich 200 Meter an einer anderen Stelle befinden. Ich ging nicht näher auf ihn ein, da es schon anfing zu dämmern. Ich lief die 350 Meter den Waldweg hinauf, rein in den Wald, dem Weg einen Bogen folgend und hatte dann sichtlich Mühe, den genauen Punkt zu lokalisieren. Es gelang mir und ich machte noch die erforderlichen Bilder und spazierte mit einem super Blick zurück zum Auto. Wir sezten unsere Reise zum Confluence Punkt 47°N 6°E fort.

20-Dec-2017 -- Our visit started with a spot check on the traffic in Sindelfingen. For that, we had to leave the freeway and, unfortunately, ran into the rush hour traffic jam. We were in a hurry to reach the confluence point 48°N 8°E as long as there was enough light. We took the freeway 81 south, followed by the interstate 27 to Villingen-Schwenningen. Our navigation computer guided us via small, beautiful roads through the Black Forest to Sankt Peter and further on to Eschbach.

My companion had visited this CP before and so he dropped me off at a farm near the CP. An older man asked if he could help me and as I explained to him what I was doing, he told me I cannot rely on the GPS. The actual CP is located 200 m away from the official coordinates. I did not pay much attention to him because the light was already vanishing. I went into the forest and after 350 m I got in trouble. It was slightly difficult to find the CP. But somehow I made it and so I took the pictures and went back to the car, enjoying the beautiful views. After this, we went on to get to the next confluence point 47°N 6°E.
