03-Mar-2019 -- Dada la circunstancia que me encuentro viviendo temporalmente en Breisach, decidí tomar la primera oportunidad posible para visitar la confluencia 48N 8E en los bordes de la Selva Negra (Schwarzwald) cercana a Freiburg.

Partí a las 11:00 del 3 de Marzo de 2019 y conduje unos 50 minutos hasta el cruce de la carretera L127 que lleva a St. Peter con la calle privada que sube a la derecha hasta dos casas. Alli estacioné el coche junto al cruce y caminé hacia arriba donde estaban las casas.

Al pasar entre estas, comenzaba un camino de tierra subiendo la colina. A la derecha del camino se encontraban dos piedras de moler. Continué caminando por ese camino y un poco más adelante encontré un cruce con otro camino de tierra. Seguí por la izquierda según me lo indicaba el GPS y a unos 100 metros de este último cruce me encontraba casi sobre la Confluencia. Apenas tuve que apartarme unos pocos metros del camino para encontrar los preciados ceros junto a las marca 48N y 8E en la pantalla de mi GPS.

La confluencia es muy fácil de accesar y se encuentra en la ladera de una colina en medio de un pequeño bosque de pinos.

03-Mar-2019 -- Given the circumstance that I'm living temporarily in Breisach, I decided to take the first opportunity possible to visit the 48N 8E Confluence in the borders of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald) near to Freiburg.

I took the road at 11:00 AM on 3 March 2019 and drove about 50 minutes up to the place where I left my car, just at the crossing of the main road L127 heading to St. Peter and the small private road on the right up to two houses. I parked my car at the crossing and started to walk up to the houses.

Once I crossed between these, there was the beginning of a dirty road up to the hill. At the right side of the road were two millstones. After walking up on this road for a few minutes, there was a crossing with another dirt road. I took the left following the indications of my GPS and after some 100 meters since the last crossing I was almost at the Confluence. I just needed to get aside off the road a few meters to get the expected zeroes beside the 48N and 8E on the display of my GPS.

The Confluence is easily accessible at a hillside in the middle of a tiny forest of pines.
