23-Mar-2018 -- While visiting Las Vegas for a conference I went for some geocaching and this confluence. There is a geocache right at the confluence.
The easiest approach to this confluence is taking the E Mission Drive Road in Henderson, NV to the western end to the McCullough Hills Trailhead. There is parking available for the trail head. From there I tried a rather direct approach for the remaining 300 m, but it is more advisable to go North first, along the west side of the drain canal until a dry riverbed comes in from the left. From there ist is easy to follow the dry riverbed for about 80 m before heading up the slope.
The confluence itself is on a crubly, rocky slope. It is not advisable to do a confluence visit during rain, as the dry riverbed will probably start to fill.
