29-Mar-2001 -- This was my first unsucessful confluence point. I was too late and also unprepared. After a visit to an exhibition in Cologne, this confluence point was about 60 km from my route home (total about 900 km both directions) and I thought, why not: Try it!

After riding the highway up to Olpe, I drove a very curving road to the village of Littfeld. Unfortunately my former CPs were all on plain land and I could not go just some 100 m cross away through wood and hills as in the former CPs. So I curved through the region (I can now drive a taxi in Littfeld...), walked over a very wet grassland, jumped about small water rinses, looking into deep forests, and then it was too dark to take any photos. Unfortunately the CP is really in very deep forest with very high dense trees, so the GPS will not work. I'll try to get a very detailed map of the region with marked forest trails, so that I can get into 30 m of the CP and will be sure of this.
