20-Apr-2009 -- I was down in Kent for a meeting and realised that I was only about 45 minutes away from this point. I was going to have some time to kill, so why not....

Park up in the usual place, opposite the entrance to the field and as I rounded the corner I saw that the farmer had been busy cutting and stacking wood.

I walked in the same way that we went last year when I visited with Dave (Patton). Quickly locate the spot and take the required photo's.

Having a few minutes to spare I took enough photo's to make this panorama of the Bluebell Wood. Perhaps the inspiration for the name of the Bluebell Railway?
