29-Jun-2005 -- 10 E lies directly along the A4 from Erfurt. There was a 15 minute delay on the motorway due to road works at Eisenach. In any case I reached the Sontra CP a little over 90 minutes after leaving Erfurt.

This was the 5th CP of the day after starting at 51N 14E at dawn. There is a picnic area by the road and it is possible to get a bit closer to the point by driving a few hundred metres up a farm track. Another wheat field – also rather wet with intermittent drizzle. No time to hang around in this peaceful spot. On to 9 E.
