28-Jan-2001 -- By coincidence I passed by close to this confluence and so I decided to take a little detour. I had no exact map of the area with me, so I depended only on my GPS to find the confluence.

When I left the Autobahn it measured a distance of less then 4 km, and so I followed a road that led more or less into the calculated direction. And, Yes, the confluence was only 200 meters off the road, close to the village of Blankenbach, and there was even a small rest area for a convenient stop.

I walked around a big field to find out that the confluence was right in the middle of it.

As the ground was frozen I dared to walk in to find the exact position. It was a nice and sunny winter day, but I arrived only at sunset, so the pictures are a little dark...

Next big city is Eisenach in Thüringen, but the confluence is still in Hessen.
