29-Jun-2005 -- 4th point on a marathon day starting at 51N14E and heading west till sunset. The journey from Wetterzeube to Erfurt was very easy along the A4/E40 motorway.

The only problem was not knowing which exit would be quickest. Taking the last exit and northerly spur I had to backtrack a little but it was an easy run down to the point. Unfortunately I overshot – turn off before the sound barriers begin – and had to loop back round again.

The field with the point is a wheat field this year and the point is about 20m from the edge.. I left the field by going north and picking up a minor road behind the “Obo” building. From near here a small underpass allows access to the southbound carriageway and return to the A4.
