23-Dec-2006 -- We have passed by this part of the country quite a few times on the way to Snowdonia but have never took the opportunity to get this point so we thought that this time we should. The reason for our journey was that we were staying with some friends of ours in a cottage near Bedgelert for Christmas.

It was easy enough to find the area especially having read all of the accounts already online. After we parked the car in what can only loosely be described as a parking space we walked back about 50m to the spot.

At first the GPS took us into the field by the side of the road and yes just to concur with a lot of the other accounts…it is still very muddy. As the GPS began to settle it then took us back to the other side of the fence on the verge at the edge of the road by the brook. Sods law we didn’t need to get muddy boots after all. We didn’t hang around for long as the spot is not all that inspiring and we had to continue on our way.
