11-Oct-2009 -- A very green and peaceful location - and my easiest confluence yet!
I had been back to my original home town of Chester for an orienteering race - and the little "confluence" marker showed up on my GPS as I was driving the scenic way home... so I thought I would give it a go.
I got all the zeros whilst bent double under a small beech tree. The meadow was dry and getting rather overgrown - no sheep in evidence this time. You have to jump over a small stream to get into the meadow - as is sadly too common in the UK it was 'enhanced' with wide variety of cans, wrappers, assorted building rubble, road side ephemera and bits of rusty iron. Some of the more easily grabable of which came home with me for proper disposal.
