05-Mar-2013 -- At last a sunny day. I have driven past this confluence many times - but always it is winter, cold, dark, raining and I am wearing a business suit. A private visit to Bletchley Park (Station X, Enigma code breaking, Alan Turing and All) and a glorious July evening provided me with an unanticipated opportunity - the M40 being pretty much closed at J11 (cars on fire) I detoured to Buckingham. My SATNAV wanted to take me in from the South-East but I did not like the look of the blue line South of the confluence point - so it was time to hunt for the agricultural supply warehouse noted by previous visits.
The confluence hosting field was free from livestock - the access gate being wide open - clearly a hay cut had just been taken. It is an easy confluence - just walk-in, take photos, look at the river (yes, no dry crossing that without a wee boat) and back to the car.
