14-Jun-2004 -- Coming back from Scotland we spend overnight again at Morecambe in
Lancastershire, where we had visited 54N 3W one week ago.
Then we drove Southeast to visit Gordon Spence at his home in
Northamptonshire.
Two joint visits were planned for our last afternoon in the UK, and first we
went to 52N 1W in direction Buckingham.
We stopped a little bit outside of this small town, near Cox &
Robinson, a company for
some agricultural items.
Gordon perfectly knew the location of the point and so we
had nothing else to do than follow him into the nearby field, making our way through numerous
sheep.
We took the pictures to North, South, East and West,
and finally we located the point to be exactly where a sheep had duly marked it.
After this visit we went through Buckingham and began to proceed to the Prime Meridian without delay.
