The last confluence point that I visited during my vacation in Germany was to this confluence point, that lies within a large section of forest. A paved road passes 1 km South of the point, so I could have walked to the confluence point from there - mostly within forest. Instead, however, I looked to drive a bit closer. I was able to get about 300 meters away by circling around to the North and East of the point. In doing so, I skirted the edge of a large fenced-off military base. (Fortunately, one no longer tends to think much about the German military, except to note that they are often involved in relief and peace keeping. This seems to be the main role for this base, as I saw several containers in the ground with the 'Red Cross' symbol.)
The confluence point lies within a section of the forest that has pine trees growing in neat North-South rows.
