13-Jun-2015 -- I was in Denver visiting family and was close to this very easy confluence. As mentioned by the previous visitors, the confluence is located in a field behind a short wire fence. I drove north on I-25 to state highway 7, (baseline rd.) and traveled west for a short distance till I hit 105W longitude. As previously stated, highway 7 runs almost exactly on the 40th parallel, so finding the spot is very easy.
Getting to the exact spot was a little more challenging on this day than it looked in previous visits. Colorado had been getting a lot of rain recently and there were weeds to walk thru in addition to climbing over the fence. Around 12 pm mountain time I am at the spot but couldn't get 12 zeroes even though I tried for about 15 minutes. The spot was covered in high weeds and I was able to get 40 degrees North and 105 degrees West but not both. As shown on the GPS I was as close as you can possibly get without getting all zeroes but close enough to say that I was standing on the spot at some point while doing the confluence dance.
It was hot but other than that and the high weeds this is still a very easy spot to get to. For all future visitors, you can park on Huron St. which runs next to the field and thus avoid having to cross the highway on foot. My first confluence on a 10 degree latitude. Hoping to make it back to Colorado next year and try for other confluences in the state.
