14-Aug-2004 -- This was my first confluence visit after moving to Denver, Colorado, and this one is pretty much a half hour drive from downtown.

I took I-25 North toward Fort Collins and got off on Route 7, headed towards Boulder. As indicated by a previous visitor this road runs almost directly along the 40th Parallel.

A lot of traffic along Route 7 considering it was a Saturday afternoon and considering the road's really not too close to anything.

It was a hot and hazy summer day, so the mountains were barely visible. The confluence is about 30 meters south of the road in a giant field.

Colorado rules and I look forward to getting into some more difficult confluences in the mountains before winter.
