(visited by Randy Cantu)

12-Jul-2024 -- I decided to visit this, my first confluence, because I had a medical appointment directly across the street at the Boulder Centre for Orthopedics to check don't the progress of a recently broken arm (and subsequent ORIF surgery where I had 6" titanium plate and 13 screws installed). While I was waiting for the doctor, I noticed that I could see approximately where the confluence would be by looking south and a bit east out of the waiting room window.

Once my appointment was over, I drove around the block and parked off the road on the south side of Hwy 7. I was parked adjacent to the point, about 80 feet north of it. There was a barbed wire fence separating me from the point, but I walked about 100 feet east and found an opening where the fence was torn down (likely from a vehicle accident). I easily crossed over and walked back to the point. Weeds and native grasses were abundant at this time of year, but easily traversed. Found the point and scored my first confluence visit!

At the time, I didn't know that I should capture photos of the four cardinal compass directions, so I may go back later and grab those.
